Fitball is the brand recommended that is very puncture resistant, and long lassting. it's also the brand with the best colors. i got the pearlescent ivory. very pretty ball and not your standard "gym" color. works well with our home decor. <br /> <br />anyways, i didn't end up using it for birthing but used it alot in positioning exercises for the baby while pregnant. plus, my husband does advanced pilates, and knows tons of crazy exercises for this ball to get back in shape after birth. i'm not there yet, but am planning to use it for that and bouncing the baby (which i also can't do now Yet).
